WS+B GA can assist clients in addressing various issues specific to their industry or business environment.  Examples of our specialty services include, but are not limited to:

SAS 70 Auditing Services
In today's global economy, service organizations are required to demonstrate that they have adequate controls and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their customers.   WS+B GA offer the following SAS 70 Auditing Services.

  • A Type I SAS 70 report provides the service organization's description of controls at a specific point in time and includes the service auditor's opinion on the fairness of the presentation and the suitability of the design of the controls to achieve the specified control objectives.
  • A Type II SAS 70 report includes the information contained in a Type I report and also includes the service auditor's opinion on whether the specific controls were operating effectively to provide reasonable, but not absolute, assurance that the control objectives were achieved during the period audited.
  • SAS 70 Readiness Assessment: Aids organizations to determine their preparedness for an actual SAS 70 audit

Financial Restatements
Though no company would like to go through the process of restating financial results for prior years, the fact remains that Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has brought about a level of intense scrutiny on how public companies produce financial results for their investors. WS+B GA understands that a client, in discharging its responsibilities for producing reliable financial statements must consider the possibility of having to amend financial statements of prior periods.

Our highly experienced and qualified professionals are trained as subject matter experts (SME’s) to analyze and review specific issues that an organization must focus on to restate financial statements of prior periods. Our SME’s experience span topics such as revenue recognition, valuation reserves, deferred taxes, equity accounting, accruals & contingencies and other critical issues.
