WS+B Again Ranked Among "Best Places to Work in New Jersey"

March 13, 2006 - For the second consecutive year, WithumSmith+Brown (WS+B), Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, has been named to the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" list compiled by NJBIZ, a weekly business publication. Last year the firm was recognized in the medium-size category (25 to 199 employees), and this year WS+B moved to the large category (more than 200 employees). 

Ivan C. Brown, managing director of WS+B, said, "The firm grew 30% in 2005, and we are proud to see that our level of employee satisfaction has been sustained through this stage of growth and expansion. Our people are the heart of our firm, and we work at keeping our employees challenged and rewarded to maintain our high rate of staff retention."

NJBIZ created the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" awards program "to honor those companies that show a dedication to their employees." The New Jersey publication conducted research through a two-part process designed to gather detailed data about each participating company. This included an organizational inventory from corporate management as well as an individualized survey for company employees. The information was compiled and analyzed by The Best Companies Group, an independent organization in Harrisburg, PA, that developed a formula for determining which companies make the list.
