Sumit K. Pal is the Executive Vice President, Operations of WithumSmith+Brown Global Assurance.  Sumit has more than 27 years of professional experience in business consulting and systems integration. Sumit is responsible for the IT Consulting, Human Capital Management and Project Team Management.

Before joining WS+B GA, Sumit provided business consulting services including Internal Controls Evaluation and implementation / audit of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.  Previous, he was the Executive Vice President of a software services company, NovaSoft Information Technology Corp., where he was responsible for international operations, finance and project delivery functions. Earlier, he worked for several IT Consulting Companies like Mastech (now iGate), Mastek and ORG Systems for over 20 years working across three continents (Asia, Australia and Europe) where, as a part of the executive management, he managed profit centers including the services to several large clients. Sumit has successfully started new offices in different parts of the globe. He has also performed a number of merger and acquisition transactions including operational due diligence reviews and successful integration of the new business entities. Sumit has rich experience in large-scale application software development, systems integration / implementation and offshore outsourcing.

He is a graduate of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (India), where he received his master’s degree in management studies (MMS). Sumit is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He resides in Middlesex County, NJ.
